CLAYTON, Mo. (KMOX) - There's a group of reformers launching a grassroots effort to chase "dark money" out of Missouri politics.

Benjamin Singer of Show Me Integrity is one of them, "Ninety-percent of Americans think we need to do something about big money in politics. But, also ninety-percent think we can't do anything about it. That's not right."

Singer's group co-hosted a forum in Clayton, Sunday, where some elected officials on both sides of the aisle gave input and ideas.

Singer says the good thing about living in Missouri is that the state allows ballot measures generated by the public and brought to a vote of the people.

He says more discussion will take place at Show Me Integrity's next meeting on March 6. To find out more details, click here.
