Procession route, road closures announced for Ofc. Langsdorf funeral

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) udpated with the latest – The funeral procession to take slain Officer Michael Langsdorf's body to Resurrection Cemetery is under way:

Officer Michael Langsdorf, the North County Police Cooperative officer killed last Sunday in the line of duty will be laid to rest, Monday. 

Immediately following the 10 a.m. public funeral at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis on Lindell Boulevard in St. Louis, Langsdorf's body will be taken to Resurrection Cemetery at 6901 MacKenzie Road. A large motorcade and procession are expected to cause long delays on the route to the cemetery.

The route from the cathedral to the cemetery is as follows:

- West on Lindell- South on Kingshighway- West on Chippewa- Chippewa turns into Watson- Left on MacKenzie Road to the cemetery

The only complete road closure will be both directions of MacKenzie Road, as many people are expected to line the street in honor of the slain officer.
