Report: Mueller report could be filed as early as next week

WASHINGTON (KMOX) — The Robert Mueller investigation could be completed as early as next week.

That's according to a report by CNN, which claims Attorney General Bill Barr is planning to submit the summary of Mueller's confidential report to Congress shortly after.

It's the clearest indication that the nearly two-year investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and possible links to President Donald Trump's campaign.

Its not clear what the public will know from the investigation, though Barr has stated in the past that he wants to be as "transparent" as possible with both Congress and the public...as long as its "consistent with the rules and the law." By law, Mueller's report must be confidential and there's no requirement for Congress or the public to see it.
