It didn't take long for the Blues to start drinking out of the Stanley Cup

BOSTON (KMOX) - Once you win the Stanley Cup, you're allowed to do pretty much anything you want with the most sacred trophy in sports. But one of the most popular choices is to drink from it.

The St. Louis Blues were partaking in that pretty darn quickly after defeating the Boston Bruins in Game 7 of the Stanely Cup Final on Wednesday night.

Check out the video they posted of the immediate reaction inside the locker room, here.

This photo from the Blues plane was shared by the Voice of the Blues, Chris Kerber – just a few hours after the game had ended. That's St. Louis-native Pat Maroon pouring some Budweiser into the Cup.

We're pretty sure that wasn't even the first and it definitely won't be the last drink had from the Cup.

And judging by a few of these tweets from players, they're not stopping anytime soon...
