ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Sammy Blais and the St. Louis Blues have agreed to a one-year, one-way contract worth $850,000.
Blais, 23, scored two goals and tallied two assists, playing in 32 regular-season games for the Blues last season.
Blais recorded one goal and two assists (three points) in 15 playoff games this season, helping the Blues to their first Stanley Cup title in franchise history. And in the Championship parade, he became a bit of a fan favorite:
Overall, Blais has three goals and four assists (seven points) in 43 career NHL regular-season games.
Monday is the first official day of free agency in the NHL.
