If your inbox blew up this morning with donation requests, it's probably because today is the 6th annual "Give STL Day" – the 24-hour event with the goal of making a difference in the community.
It kicked off at midnight last night and since 2014, the day has raised more than $10 million for the region's non-profits. Last year, there were more than 20,000 individual donor gifts which totals more than $2.4 million.
