ST. LOUIS (KMOX) — Thursday might be your best bet to take care of outdoor work, as the greater St. Louis region is expecting several rounds of thunderstorms this weekend beginning Friday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
Warm, humid air will linger over the weekend with more heavy rainfall and scattered storms predicted for Friday afternoon and into the evening. The primary threat will be damaging winds, with large hail and isolated tornadoes possible.
As storms are expected to hit the same regions that have been dealing with local flooding, be aware of rising waters on roadways.
