ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Two soldiers from the St. Louis region have died while serving in Kuwait. The husband of Sgt. Holli Bolinski told Stars and Stripes his wife was killed when their vehicle crashed into a tractor trailer on Tuesday. The 37-year-old Pickneyville woman was a mother of five.

Spc. Jackson Johnson, 20, of Hillsboro, Missouri, was also killed in the crash, according to an Army statement.

Both the soldiers were based at Camp Arifjan and served in the 657th Transportation Detachment, an Army Reserve unit based in Belleville, Illinois.

A third soldier, who was not named, was airlifted from the scene and will be medically evacuated from Kuwait, the statement said.

The Army is investigating the crash, but officials do not suspect it was the result of a hostile act.
