WASHINGTON (KMOX) — A massive recall of frozen chicken has been announced over a potential safety hazard.
The latest one involved 69,000 pounds of Tyson frozen chicken strips, which could possibly be contaminated with pieces of metal.
The recall applies to 25-oz. packages of Tyson Fully Cooked Buffalo Style Chicken Strips and Tyson Fully Cooked Crispy Chicken Strips, as well as 20-pound cases of Spare Time Fully Cooked Buffalo Style Chicken Strips. All products have 'best if used by' date of Nov. 30, 2019.
A recall of Janes Pub Style Nuggets was also announced this week due to possible salmonella contamination.
