(KMOX) - A Pennsylvania woman has developed a pouch that drivers can attach to their driver's side vent to store important documents within reach. It's purpose is to prevent situations where police officers believed a person was reaching across for a weapon and possibly shooting an unarmed person.
Jackie Carter made the pouch after the death of Philando Castile, who was shot and killed by a police officer as he was reaching for his driver's license.
The clear pouch holds your license and registration and keeps the driver from reaching into a bag or glove box. A driver would clip the pouch to their air vent that's closest to the window.
