Netflix has completely changed the television viewing experience for the better, but with so many options just a click away, making a decision can become a difficult task. Luckily, Netflix offers a number of categories in order to help the selection process, but until now most had no way of accessing these categories unless they were already displayed on the screen.
Now, thanks to a viral video, many Netflix users have learned the “secret codes” to unlocking these categories.
When a user logs onto Netflix, they are met with a number of categories on the home screen that they do not have the option of selecting for themselves. However, according to a recent TikTok video, there are a number of codes that can be typed into the search bar in order to pop up a specific category.
The “life changing” discovery had many looking through categories such as “boxing movies,” “Disney musicals,” “gangster movies” and many more.
Of course, some were already aware of these “secret codes,” but the majority was just happy to make their viewing experience even better. Hopefully Netflix has a few more tricks up their sleeve to help out the viewers.
