And you thought your quarantine was bad.
A Chinese woman was forced to quarantine away from home for 14 days amid a COVID-19 outbreak. Pets were not allowed to be brought into quarantine, so she left out food for her dog and set up cameras so she could monitor him remotely.
The poor pup spent the first day in isolation waiting for his owner to come home. The doggie was distressed from being left alone, and by day two he started ripping apart everything in sight inside the woman’s home.
The owner says she is upset that her apartment is being trashed by her dog, but it’s nothing that she can’t clean up.
Why was this woman quarantining away from home? We don’t know for sure in this case, but some in China have been moved to camps to live out their COVID-19 isolation period. China has a strict “Zero Covid” policy and they are doing everything they can to keep the virus from spreading… but some measures are really intense.
Lockdowns in China look very similar to the initial lockdowns we saw in the spring of 2020.
