ST. LOUIS (KMOX) — Green Day will perform in St. Louis at the NHL All-Star Game Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020, the NHL announced Monday morning.
The news follows that of the band signing a two-year partnership with the NHL, and to kick it all off, Green Day's yet-to-be-released single "Fire, Ready, Aim," will debut as the opening theme song for NBCSN's Wednesday Night Hockey Oct. 9, at 7:30 p.m. ET prior to a game between the New Jersey Devils vs. Philadelphia Flyers.
Songs from Green Day's forthcoming 13th studio album "Father of All..." will be featured in NHL game highlights and more content created and distributed by the NHL. The partnership includes performances, appearances and other collaborations.

"Green Day is the perfect band for the NHL. Their music fits so perfectly with the energy, speed and power that we witness on the ice and each and every night," NHL Chief Content Officer and Executive Vice President Steve Mayer said in a statement. "We are so excited to start this partnership with the NBC Sports open. It was so much fun to shoot and we think our fans will love it."
