TORONTO (KMOX) — Hockey fans that go to the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto will learn about St. Louis Blues superfan Laila Anderson.
And it might not have happened if it wasn't for one of her best friends.
Lucas White went to Canada's biggest city with his family earlier this month to check out the Blues Stanley Cup Championship display.
We loved the Blues Championship Exhibit, but was missing a vital part of the story, our dear friend and team inspiration, Laila! Lucas and Emileigh met with the Director, donated their LAILA STONG Bands, filled out the archive paperwork & are now apart of the exhibit! #stlblues pic.twitter.com/WBGHSgLWuK

So, they donated their two LAILA STRONG bracelets, filled out the archive paperwork, and there they were in Toronto...siting in front of a record of Laura Branigan's "Gloria" and surrounded by other Blues keepsakes from the Stanley Cup run.

Lucas' father, Daniel White, tells KMOX News that Lucas and Laila have been going to Blues game together for a long time, but hadn't been to one since she had bone marrow transplant nine months ago. This past Tuesday they were back at Enterprise Center and attended their first hockey game together since the procedure.
