LOOK: $25 million Missouri estate with castle, 18-hole golf course, horse stables up for sale

Gendron wrote a history on the castle and said, the mansion is inspired by Italian Renaissance architecture. It has 18 rooms and a square, four-story tower.
It was built from limestone that was quarried on the grounds worked by slave labor. Gendron said, during the Civil War both the North and South fought to get their hands on the property because it has a shot tower that was used for making bullets.
The whole property includes a fully furnished castle, 18-hole championship golf course, a conference center and riding stables. You can check out the listing with Cushman & Wakefield.
