ST. LOUIS (KMOX) — Three Rockwood School District schools scored high among public institutions in Missouri in U.S. News and World Reports' recent ranking of the best high schools.
Coming in at No. 1 is Lafayette Senior High in Wildwood. The No. 3 and 4 spots went to Rockwood Summit Senior High and Eureka Senior High respectively. Twenty Missouri public schools made the list.
Data on more than 23,000 public schools was collected across the nation to create the list. Factors taken into consideration included graduation rate, college readiness, enrollment numbers and student-teacher ratio.
Here are the Top 10 schools in Missouri according to U.S. News and World Report:
- Lafayette Senior High in Wildwood
- Smithville High in Smithville
- Rockwood Summit Senior High in Fenton
- Eureka Senior High in Eureka
- Metro Academic and Classical High School in St. Louis
- West High in Ballwin
- Lindbergh Senior High in St. Louis
- Marquette Senior High in Chesterfield
- Affton High in St. Louis
- Ft. Zumwalt West High in O'fallon
