(KMOX) — The first Friday the 13th of 2019 is today, and eerily enough, it also marks the Harvest Moon — the closest full moon to the autumnal equinox (Sept. 23), according to the Farmers' Almanac.
The full moon landing on Friday the 13th happens roughly once every 20 years. The last one appeared on Oct. 13, 2000, and the next one won't happen until Aug. 13, 2049, the Almanac reports.
