St. Louis Aquarium Releases Newest Renderings: Touch Pools, Shark Tank, Observation Wheel
Set to open in late 2019, Union Station will be home to a new aquarium holding more than 1 million gallons of water, including a 250,000-gallon shark tank. There will be touch tanks on the second level, with a ropes course above it all among the train shed pillars.
Although the aquarium won't open open until late 2019, the restaurants, wheel and other attractions should be open this summer.
An admission price has not yet been set, but the St. Louis Aquarium Foundation says it will work to make sure underserved schools and communities will receive free admission to the aquarium.
