Supermodel Karlie Kloss kicks off new season of Project Runway in her hometown of St. Louis

WEBSTER GROVES, Mo (KMOX) - Supermodel and Webster Groves native Karlie Kloss returned to St. Louis Thursday night, along with the rest of the cast of Bravo's "Project Runway," to celebrate the premiere of the Emmy-award winning show's 18th season.
The watch party took place at the Last Hotel on Washington Avenue in downtown St. Louis and included up-and-coming local designers and students from Washington University, North Tech and SIBA.
Susan Sherman of the St. Louis Fashion Fund kicked off the event. Then Karlie, along with journalist Elaine Welteroth and fashion designers Christian Siriano and Brandon Maxwell, participated in a Q&A session.
Kloss, a graduate of Webster Groves High School, has graced the cover of Vogue forty times. She's been recognized by TIME for her philanthropic works as the founder of Kode With Klossy, her non-profit that helps drive young women into the technology field.
