WATCH: St. Louis police, firefighters 'light up' children's hospital, sing Christmas carols

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Multiple emergency crews from Rock Hill, Eureka, city of St. Louis and "hundreds" of community members showed up to Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital on Grand Boulevard in St. Louis Monday night. They were participating in the 1st Annual Light Up Glennon event to put on a holiday show for the young patients at the hospital.
Photos and video were shared on Facebook of the group counting down the big light up, then they sang Christmas carols like "Here Comes Santa Clause" and "Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer." They stood outside as the kids and nurses watched from the top-floor windows.
The Eureka Firefighters Community Outreach Facebook page posted most of the photos and video:
"In this line of work, we get to do some really cool things. Bringing a little Christmas cheer to the children and families of SSM Cardinal Glennon has to top that list! Tonight, off duty personnel volunteered their time to attend the 1st Annual Light Up Glennon! Hundreds of individuals, along with fire/police/EMS personnel, made sure these SUPER HERO kids saw our light (and we saw theirs)!!!"
