The man who coached "The Greatest Show on Turf" is a Hall of Famer.
Dick Vermeil served as a head coach in the NFL for 15 seasons, making a Super Bowl appearance with the Philadelphia Eagles in 1980; winning the Super Bowl with the St. Louis Rams in 1999; and leading the Kansas City Chiefs to their first division title in 2003.

The 1999 St. Louis Rams season saw the rise of young quarterback Kurt Warner after starting QB Trent Green was injured in the preseason. Vermiel and the Rams finished the regular season with a record of 13-3; a stark contrast to the 5-11 record of 1997 and 4-12 record of 1998. The Rams would go on to defeat the Tennessee Titans 23-16 in Super Bowl XXXIV, and Vermiel would be named NFL Coach of the Year for the second time.
Also included in the Class of 2022 are tackle Tony Boselli, safety LeRoy Butler, linebacker Sam Mills, defensive tackle/end Richard Seymour, defensive tackle Bryant Young, wide receiver Cliff Branch, and former Director of Officiating Art McNally.
