ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A $790 million settlement between the NFL and St. Louis is no laughing matter – whether or not you think it's too low or too high. But some have hilariously pointed out how similar the amount is to a viral rant by former St. Louis/Los Angeles Rams head coach Jeff Fisher.

Before the 2016 season – the first after the Rams departed St. Louis – they were the feature team on HBO's "Hard Knocks" series. And the most memorable moment in possible the entire show's history is when Fisher kept talking about "7-9 bull****."

Here's the clip:

On Wednesday, St. Louis and the NFL reportedly agreed on a $790 million settlement in the relocation lawsuit filed in 2017. And this Twitter user won the Tweet of the Day by pointing out the connection to the Fisher rant:

In his 22 seasons as an NFL head coach, he went 7-9 four times – including twice with St. Louis in four seasons. He was also 7-8-1 in his first year with St. Louis.

Fisher was fired in 2016, as he was one game short of the NFL record for most career loses by a head coach. But he'll always have his 7-9 BS to keep him company:
