ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The NCAA Division 1 Wrestling Championships are coming back to St. Louis.
On Wednesday, the St. Louis Sports Commission announced that the Enterprise Center will host the 2027 NCAA Division 1 Wrestling Championships.
It will mark the 10th time the championships have been held in St. Louis since 2000 and the first time since 2021. All nine previous times the championships have taken place in St. Louis, it has been held at the arena currently known as the Enterprise Center.
The last time the championships were held in St. Louis in 2021, the event was held with modifications due to the event taking place during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2027 NCAA Division 1 Wrestling Championships will also mark the twelfth time the state of Missouri has hosted the event. Kansas City, Missouri, most recently hosted the 2024 NCAA Division 1 Wrestling Championships.
