ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The 4-Nations Face Off rosters for Sweden, Finland, United States and Canada were revealed Wednesday and two St. Louis Blues players is set to participate in the eight-day tournament.

Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington and defenseman Colton Parayko were the lone two Blues players set to participate in the tournament in February.

Binnington named among the Canada's three goaltenders, alongside Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Adin Hill and Montreal Canadiens goaltender Sam Montembeault.

Parayko was named among seven defenseman to represent Canada in the tournament, joining former Blues teammate Alex Pietrangelo, Colorado Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar and Devin Toews, Pietrangelo's teammate with the Vegas Golden Knights Shea Theodore, Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey and Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Travis Sanheim.

Overall, Binnington in 2024/2025 hasn't been great, posting a .899 save percentage and a GAA of 2.87, but according to goal saved above average (GSAA), Binnington is just shy of the league average, with Binnington posting a GSAA of -0.9.

Goaltender is Canada's biggest question mark heading into the 4-Nations Face-Off and Binnington seemed primed for the starting role heading into the 2024/2025 season after a terrific 2023/2024 season in which he posted a GSAA of 16.6, which was the fifth-best in the NHL.

However, among the three goaltenders selected by Canada general manager Don Sweeney, only Montembeault is posting an above-average GSAA this year among the three Canadian goaltenders, with Montembeault posting a above average GSAA of 0.3 this season.

Parayko, for the season so far, has suited up for all of the Blues' 26 games so this season and four goals and 12 points overall while averaging 24:47 minutes on ice, which leads all skaters on the Blues and is almost two minutes more than Ryan Suter, who is second on the Blues on average ice time.

The 4-Nations Face-Off will take place from Feb. 12 to Feb. 20 with games will be played at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and at the TD Garden in Boston.
