ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - St. Louis Blues fans woke up to a shock as the hockey club fired head coach Craig Berube.

For the Blues, Berube firing comes after the team dropped their fifth game in their last six -- with losses to the lowly Columbus Blue Jackets and Chicago Blackhawks in that stretch.

Springfield Thunderbirds head coach Drew Bannister will take over the club in the interim basis and will be behind the bench Thursday when Vladimir Tarasenko returns to St. Louis as the Blues hosts the Ottawa Senators.

Where do the Blues go from here? Bally Sports Midwest reporter and the host of 'The Cam and Strick podcast' Andy Strickland joined Total Information A.M. Wednesday to discuss the shock firing, and gives insight on who Bannister is.
