ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The official jersey retirement of Chris Pronger's No. 44 St. Louis Blues jersey, originally scheduled for this season at Enterprise Center, has been postponed until the 2021-22 season.
The Blues announced on Monday that the ceremony is being moved due to the capacity limits at home games and will announce the new date when next season's schedule is released.
He will become the eighth player to have his number retired by the Blues, joining Bob Gassoff, Barclay Plager, Brian Sutter, Bernie Federko, Al MacInnis, Brett Hull and Bob Plager.
Pronger spent nine seasons with the Blues and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame as part of the 2015 class.
