ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Adam Wainwright isn't done with baseball in 2020 just yet. Although his season came to an end last week, KMOX has confirmed that he'll still be working on Tuesday as a TV broadcaster for Game 1 of the Atlanta Braves versus Miami Marlins series.

Wainwright will be part of the Fox Sports team that calls the first game of the NL Division League Series, as first reported by Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

He'll share the broadcast with Adam Amin on play-by-play and former MLB catcher AJ Pierzynski for Game 1 at 2 p.m. Tuesday on FS-1.

This will be Wainwright's first time broadcasting an MLB game.

He and Pierzynski were teammates in 2014, when Wainwright was an All-Star for St. Louis.

The 39-year-old pitcher will become a free agent this offseason and it's no guarantee that he'll be back to play for another year. He was 5-3 with a 3.15 ERA this season.
