ST. LOUIS (KMOX) -- It's been 40 years since the region celebrated a World Series victory to Kool & the Gang, and now the Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum is giving an inside look called "Celebration! 1982."

It's your chance to brush up on the fundamentals of Whiteyball. The new attraction looks at the team's 1982 World Series victory and the impact of manager Whitey Herzog.

"Our new featured exhibit celebrates Whitey Herzog taking control of the team as both manager and general manager and tells the story of how Whitey’s relationships with his players reshaped the Cardinals roster into World Series Champions," museum curator Amy Berra said in a statement.

Artifacts are also on display, like Willie McGee's game three, two-home run bat; owner Gussie Busch's red Cardinals cowboy hat; and World Series M.V.P. Darrell Porter's World Series game-used bat.

You've got until next February to check it out.
