On the second day of spring training, team says they'll know more soon about their ace's shoulder.

Monday, it was reliever Alex Reyes.

Tuesday, it was starting pitcher Jack Flaherty.

A team official confirmed Tuesday afternoon that Flaherty had an examination of his right shoulder earlier in the day. The Cardinals expected to learn more from that exam later Tuesday night or perhaps Wednesday morning.
