Cardinals selected for 2 prime-time, Sunday night games in 2021 season

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - ESPN has released its schedule for Sunday Night Baseball matchups for the first half of the MLB season and the St. Louis Cardinals have been selected in two fixtures.

They'll be playing for a national TV audience on back-to-back Sunday's in May:

- May 16, 7 p.m., St. Louis Cardinals vs. San Diego Padres
- May 23, 7 p.m., Chicago Cubs vs. St. Louis Cardinals

You can also, of course, hear those games and every single Cardinals game from Spring Training through the playoffs on KMOX 1120AM this season. See the full ESPN schedule, here.

The May 16 game against San Diego is a rematch of the 2020 NL Wild Card Series, which St. Louis lost 2-1 after winning the first game of the series.

The following week will feature the final game of the first series against the rival Cubs in 2021.
