In celebration of Albert Pujols' historic career, Nikco Sports is coming out with a limited-edition commemorative bat that has all of #5's stats on it.
Bob Ibach of Nikco Sports told KMOX that only 703 of the bats will ever be made.
"It's a very limited edition, two tone wouldn't bat fully licensed by Major League Baseball and the Players Association, it measures 34 inches," Ibach said. "It'll have a full-color action photograph of Albert on the barrel of the bat, that blue section of the bat preceeded down the handle with little red coloring down there really looks stunning."
A portion of the proceeds for the abt will be going to Cardinals Care, the team's charitable foundation.
"All those great statistics that you mentioned earlier, many of those will be engraved into the barrel of the bat. Some of the highlights from his career," Ibach said. "I got a chance to see a prototype yesterday, and that's going down to my man cave. It's one of the greatest pieces of sports memorabilia I've seen Nikco sports ever produce."
