ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Cardinals fans were no doubt excited after learning the team's current top prospect Masyn Winn was being called up by the team late Thursday.

His Memphis Redbirds teammates were also excited too. The Cardinals released a video on their X, formerly known as Twitter, account of the clubhouse getting the news from Redbirds manager Ben Johnson that Winn was going to get promoted to the big leagues postgame Thursday.

Immediately after getting the news, you can see three Redbirds teammates, including INF Kramer Robertson jumped straight to Winn after getting the news.

It's no doubt that Winn does deserve to be promoted to the big leagues. The 21-year-old Texas native hitting tools clicked in Triple-A, especially as the summer dragged in. Winn has hitted a .288/.359/.474 slash line, hitting an OPS for .834 and collecting 128 hits, 61 RBIs, and hitting 18 home runs while stealing 17 stolen bases.

Winn will be in the Cardinals dugout Friday, though it will remain to be seen if Winn makes his major league debut Friday night.
