St. Louis City SC's minor league team will be the first to hit the new fresh grass on the Centene Stadium pitch in Downtown West.
The highly successful CITY2 have won 15 games and tied two. They'll face Sporting KC II on Sunday, September 18th. Kick off will be at 6 o'clock.
Only the lower bowl of the stadium — which boasts 22,000 seats — will be open, and only season ticket members will get to sit in those seats.
The game is being considered a test run for employees and fans alike, with limited food and drinks offered.
