ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - St. Louis City SC headed into their matchup against the Los Angeles Galaxy not at full strength with key players Tim Parker and Eduard Löwen being unavailable for the game in Los Angeles late Saturday night.
Despite the injuries, City SC nearly won the game with a Galaxy own goal just right before stoppage time, but a free kick header from former Japanese international captain Maya Yoshida late in stoppage time sealed a draw for the Galaxy, with both teams leaving Saturday night with only a point each
City SC head coach Bradley Carnell joined KMOX Total Information A.M. Monday to recap the draw, and how he pleased with the club's performance Saturday night he was without two key starters in Parker and Löwen, along with midfielder Njabulo Blom being out too.
