ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - CITYPARK, set to become Energizer Park in the new year, will be the scene for many U.S. soccer fans Monday night.

The U.S. Men's National Team (USMNT) is in St. Louis on Monday, as they are set to play the second leg of their quarterfinal matchup against Jamaica in the CONCACAF Nations League tonight at 7 p.m.

The USMNT head into the second leg with a 1-0 lead on aggregate, thanks to a goal from PSV striker and Texas-native Ricardo Pepi in the fifth minute of the first leg, which took place at National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica on Thursday, Nov. 14.

The match will be a homecoming for US internationals Tim Ream and Patrick Schulte. Ream, a graduate of St. Dominic High School will likely be in the starting lineup for the USMNT on Monday, while Schulte, a Francis Howell High School graduate, figures to be on the bench most likely.

St. Louis soccer analysts Bill McDermott and Jen Siess joined KMOX Sport Director Tom Ackerman on 'Total Information A.M.' Monday to preview the game.

"With a win or draw tonight, you can get into the Nations League semi-finals as well as the 2025 Gold Cup," said McDermott. "(The latter) is most vital in particular because everything you do as a country next year is geared towards hosting the 2026 World Cup."

"Any types of these competitions you can advance in and get more exposure for your national team....this does garner some worldwide attention."
