St. Louis (KMOX) -- There has been another black bear sighting in the St. Louis area. This time it's in Chesterfield.
Police confirm it's a young adult black bear weighing around 200 pounds.
The bear has been named "Chester" by police. It was spotted near the intersection of Wildhorse Creek and Baxter Roads. They say as exciting as it may seem, do not approach or feed the bear if you see him.
"Chester", as with all black bears, seek to avoid humans. They only become aggressive if they feel threatened. If you see him, call Chesterfield Police.
