St. Louis (KMOX) -- Congressman Billy Long (R-MO) is running for Missouri's open U.S. Senate seat.
The Republican announced his bid to replace retiring GOP Senator Roy Blunt in an interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox News Tuesday night following a meeting with former President Donald Trump earlier in the day.
The Springfield native joins a primary field that includes state Attorney General Eric Schmitt, attorney Mark McCloskey, and former Missouri Governor Eric Greitens.
