ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A "Make-A-Wish" kid from St. Louis is living a dream of traveling to see his beloved Kansas City Chiefs play in the Super Bowl.
Twelve-year-old Gavin has a nervous system disorder. But, that didn't stop him from from playing table tennis with some NFL players Wednesday in Arizona.
Gavin is one of 17 kids from 15 states getting their wish granted to attend football's biggest game - and all the festivities surrounding it.
Johnathan Ledbetter of the Arizona Cardinals describes the feeling of showing them around, "It's a blessing. Grateful to be here to support these kids and hang out with them for a little bit. I get to be a kid again myself."
Brian Miller from Make-A-Wish of Missouri and Kansas says they hope the trip provides Gavin the strength and inspiration needed to face whatever challenges come his way.
