According to St. Louis Police Lt. Col Eric Larson, officers received a report of two suspects tampering with a vehicle in South City at around 8:40 a.m.

When officers arrived, they were able to locate the suspects who matched the descriptions.

One of the suspects surrendered immediately while another proceeded to run from officers.
