Each week, KMOX anchor and reporter Scott Jagow looks for some good in the world with his segment "3 Good Things." This weekend, he focused on the number 3, given his life as a Buffalo Bills fan and Damar Hamlin's cardiac event during a game last week.
"By the time I was three years old, I was on a lifelong journey. It says so right on my birth certificate. Born in Buffalo, New York. I didn't know it, but that made me a Bills fan for life," Jagow writes.
Jagow and his family gathered for the biggest game of the season on January 2.
"On the first drive, I got frustrated with one of our players. Then on the second drive, the same player made a tackle and it nearly ended his life right in front of us. It was Damar Hamlin. Number three. The room went soundless. We bowed our heads, we paced, we stayed there in the pub hoping until we had to go home."
