COLLINSVILLE, Ill. (KMOX) - Three teens are in custody and police are searching for a fourth for an armed carjacking that led to a police chase from St. Louis to the Metro East late Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning.

Police say it happened around 11 p.m. at a parking garage in the 6100 block of Delmar Boulevard in The Loop. The victim, a 23-year-old Black woman, had just parked her 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee when three suspects approached.
One suspect snatched the keys from her hands while the two others entered her vehicle, police say. When she tried to grab her keys back, the suspect put his hand around her throat and held a gun to her head. The suspect then threw her to the ground and drove off in her vehicle.
A couple of hours later, the stolen vehicle was spotted by police on Goodfellow Boulevard in St. Louis. There was a pursuit that led officers into Collinsville, Illinois where three suspects, Black males ages 14, 16 and 17, were arrested.
The female victim wasn't injured and refused medical attention, police say.
Police are still searching for a fourth male suspect.
