
ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Six Missourians have been ranked among the 400 wealthiest Americans in 2021.

Over the last year, Forbes says the "400 wealthiest Americans saw their collective fortune increase 40% over the last year, to $4.5 trillion." The magazine also says the number of people on the annual list who gave away more than 20% of their net worth dropped from 10 to eight.
Here are the Missourians on the list (estimated worth):
Pauline MacMillan Keinath (No. 106 - $8.2 billion) - Believed to be the largest shareholder of Cargill, the largest food company in the world, with an estimated 13% stake. 2020 estimated worth was $4.9 billion.
John Morris (No. 134 - $6.9 billion) - Founder and CEO of $6.5 billion (sales) outdoor gear retailer Bass Pro Shops. 2020 estimated worth was $4.1 billion.
David Steward (No. 182 - $5.8 billion) - Founder and chairman of IT provider World Wide Technology. 2020 estimated worth was $3.7 billion.
Jim McKelvey (No. 269 - $4.2 billion) - Cofounded payments firm Square with Jack Dorsey in 2009 after he had trouble selling a $2,000 art piece from his studio. 2020 estimated worth was $2.2 billion.
Rodger Riney & family (No. 318 - $3.6 billion) - Cofounder of discount brokerage firm Scottrade, which is now part of TD Ameritrade. 2020 estimated worth was also $3.6 billion.
Jim Kavanaugh (No. 340 - $3.4 billion) - CEO of IT provider World Wide Technology. 2020 estimated worth was $2.3 billion.
Some other interesting facts about this year's list:
• The richest person in America, for the fourth year in a row, is Jeff Bezos ($201 billion). Followed by Elon Musk worth $190.5 billion and Mark Zuckerberg at $134 billion.
• 51 billionaires dropped off the ranking, including Donald Trump and Oprah Winfrey.
• The number of women on The Forbes 400 is unchanged from a year ago at 56.
• there were 44 newcomers to the ranking, the richest of whom is 29-year-old cryptocurrency entrepreneur Sam Bankman-Fried, worth $22.5 billion.
• California has more Forbes 400 members than any other state — for the 20th year in a row — this year it's at 89.
• The oldest member is Ted Lerner (No. 229 - $4.7 billion), who will turn 96 in mid-October.
