Lize Lewy did not heed the call to try out for "Emma," the production currently on stage at the Repertory Theater of St. Louis. Lewy already had a full-time job working in development at Tower Grove Park.
She did agree to take a job at the Rep as a script reader, where she'd read scenes with the actors coming in for auditions. The next thing she knew, she was offered the role of Harriet Smith. Listen to Lewy describe why it was a full-circle moment for her:
