ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The Missouri Sports Hall of Fame announced the St. Louis inductees for the Hall of Fame and it will include two very recognizable faces.
Longtime St. Louis Blues defenseman Barrett Jackman and just recently-retired St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright were announced as two of the 23 inductees set to be inducted into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame this week.
Jackman played all but one season of his career with the Blues. In 803 career games, the longtime defenseman registered 28 goals and 151 points in his 13 year career with the Blues, while also winning the Calder Trophy back in 2002-03 and being named to the NHL All-Rookie Team.
Jackman played in the @NHL from 1999 to 2016, with his first 16 seasons spent with the @StLouisBlues. In his NHL career covering 14 seasons, he averaged 20-plus minutes a game, a sign of a reliable defenseman. Overall, he had 181 points, or 28 goals and 153 assists. pic.twitter.com/xUAQmKUPQM

Wainwright played his entire Major League career with the Cardinals and while he did have a lot of injury troubles in his career, Wainwright has long etched his name into the Cardinals history books, pitching a respectable 3.53 ERA and winning 200 games in 2,600 innings and 478 games for the Birds On The Bat.
Among other inductees include longtime radio personality Bernie Miklasz, the dynasty Saint Louis University soccer team from 1954-1974, where they won a still-record 10 NCAA championships in NCAA soccer, and former NASCAR driver Kenny Wallace.

Jay Delsing - PGA Tour Golfer who participated in 565 career PGA Tour starts.
Tony Van Zant - 1985 National Player of the Year at Hazelwood Central High School.
Todd Lyght- 12-year NFL defensive back, and won Super Bowl XXXIV with the then-St. Louis Rams.
1973 Washington High School Football Team - winning only state title in program history on a last minute punt return Touchdown to win 14-7 against Jefferson City Helias.
1984-1989 Crystal City High School Girls Track Team - winning 16 state titles combined in individual events and relays, including six consecutive state championships in Class 2 in that stretch
St. Joseph's Academy Girl Tennis Program - winning 18 state championships from 1976-2022, including 31 finishes in the top-four.
Randy Albrecht - longtime Basketball coach at STLCC-Meramec.
Mark Mullin - Missouri S&T Athletic Director.
Khalia Collier- owner of St. Louis Surge, along with VP and Chief of Staff of Basketball Operations for the Dallas Mavericks.
Dick Cook - longtime high school track coach including a 34-year tenure at Crystal City High School.
Dave Loos- retired head coach at Austin-Peay University, taking program to four NCAA Tournaments and four Ohio Valley Conference tournament victories. 1965 graduate of Mehlville High School.
Doug Smith- Head Coach of St. Joseph's Academy Girl Tennis Program.
Linda Wells - Former Softball Head Coach for University of Minnesota and Arizona State University. Pacific High School graduate won National Championship with Minnesota in 1988.
Greg Vitello- coach DeSmet Jesuit Soccer for 46 years, with program winning five state championships during his time.
Kelly Mulvihill Stahlhuth - three-time state tennis champion at St. Joseph's Academy, two-time All-American, Big-10 MVP at Indiana University. Inducted into Indiana Hoosiers Athletics Hall of Fame in 2002.
All 23 inductees will be honored on Nov. 19 at Chase Park Plaza.
