ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Adam Wainwright and the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra are teaming up for a performance at the Stifel Theatre in 2025.
On Feb. 22, 2025, Wainwright and the Orchestra will celebrate a night of two of St. Louis’ greatest loves—music and baseball.
Wainwright and the orchestra will perform songs from his album "Hey Y'all", which was recently released in April.
Alongside the performance of Wainwright will also be a performance of Americana classics and a special rendition of Ernest Lawrence Thayer's poem “Casey at Bat” that conveys all the drama of America’s favorite pastime.
St. Louis Symphony Orchestra subscribers can purchase tickets now, while general sale will happen at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26. Tickets will be available on Ticketmaster.
The collaboration with the orchestra marks the latest performance by Wainwright, who has already seen quite a few concerts since his retirement. Recently, Wainwright was among the performers at the Confluence Music Festival as part of the festivities for NASCAR at World Wide Technology Raceway in early June. Wainwright is also currently set to perform on Aug. 10 at the Washington Town and County Fair, serving as the opening act for country singer Travis Tritt.
