ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - We have new information on a story KMOX News told you about Monday on Ameren Missouri's plans to build a new substation at Delmar and Union.
That raised concerns for State Senator Karla May and her constituents because Ameren had not reached out to the community prior to buying the land. May says "there should have been some preliminary hearings and preliminary conversations to the community before we even purchase and decided to build."
Residents will get a chance tonight to hear from Ameren Missouri at Senator Mays regular monthly meeting. It starts at 6:30 until 8:00 pm at the Delmar Divine at 5501 Delmar Boulevard.
People will also get a chance to hear from new St. Louis Police Chief Robert Tracy.
