"It's certainly frustrating whenever we have any crime on the system, but it shows that we have a rigorous enforcement component, and I'm thrilled that an arrest was made." Metro Transit President Taulby Roach was asked if recent crimes on the system, including a shooting, have hurt ridership. "Ridership has been recovering, it's actually been doing better, especially with these very important public events like the Cardinals, and of course of the soccer stadium, and of course those Battlehawks."

The suspect in the attempted rapes, 37-year old Dartarius Gibson is charged with three felonies.

The attacks happened a day apart, April 19th and 19th, on two underground MetroLink platforms--one near the Convention Center, the other at 8th and Pine.
