KNOB NOSTER, MO - (KMOX) The code name Operation Midnight Hammer, seven B-2 Bombers out of Whiteman Air Force Base in Western Missouri conducted strikes on three of Iran's nuclear sites, Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan.
All seven of stealth returned home safely Sunday afternoon. National Security consultant for CBS retired Army Colonel Jeff McCausland tells KMOX the B-2's dropped more than ten M-O-P or Massive Ordinance Penetrators on two of the targets. Natanz and Fordoe, the tomahawks hit the Isfahan site.
Colonel McCausland says the B-2's linked up with numerous aircraft enroute to Iran and numerous re-fueling operations because the flight from Whiteman to Iran is 18 hours.
