
TOKYO (KMOX) - St. Louis native Colleen Young is adding to her Paralympic medal collection. She just won a silver medal in the 200-meter Individual Medley at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic games.
Her time of 2:26.80 won her a second career Paralympic medal. She previously won bronze in the 100-meter Breaststroke at the 2016 Rio games. The Lindbergh High School graduate posted about her success on Twitter saying "WHAT A WILD NIGHT"

Two days later, she won her second medal of these games with a bronze in the 100-meter Breaststroke. She now has three career Paralympic medals.
She was born and raised in St. Louis and graduated from Fairfield University last year. At her first games in London 2012, she was the youngest member of the U.S. Paralympic Swimming Team at 14-years-old.
Young began swimming in 2005 at age seven. She was born with albinism and is legally blind.
