A fire on Friday night destroyed Bob Kramer's Marionnettes on Laclede Ave. leaving one person dead — believed to be Bob Kramer.

The body has not yet been positively identified, according to officials. There had been reports of a homeless person loitering around the building in the days before the fire. However, when the fire department came back to the scene on Monday morning with a cadaver dog, no other body was found.

Kramer, in his 70s, lived with his longtime partner Dug Feltch at the site for years. His partner escaped with injuries and was hospitalized. Bob Kramer's Marionnettes was nationally known and one of the country's oldest puppet theaters.

A GoFundMe has been created to help support Feltch.
